People have been enjoying the benefits of yoga in their everyday lives for more than 3,000 years. So why not bring those benefits into your workplace with some soothing corporate and team building exercises? If you need a little more convincing, we have a list of just a few of the reasons why you need to bring yoga into your office:
Yoga has proven to reduce aggression in the workplace, leading to much more effective communication between co-workers. By decreasing hostility in the office, you will see a boost in team morale leading to a more productive team.
Stress is the number one reason people take sick days. It can also lead to an increase in staff turnover. By getting your team into regular yoga sessions, you can ensure a healthy workplace for every individual.
Each year companies lose thousands of dollars in productivity from each employee due to poor health issues. A regular yoga session can break up the day, helping employees take a mental break from the office. It also improves blood flow and balance reducing the risk of injuries and increasing sleep regulation.
Taronga Centre has launched Yoga at the Zoo on Sundays from 10am – 11am. Further details can be found here.
It is time to embrace the cooler weather at your next event with some exciting winter touches. Make your winter conference stand out with one of these ideas:
